About Us
Nigeria’s population stands at approximately around 217 million according to “Worldometer,” as of August 25, 2022. With the youths accounting for 70 percent, they stand at a huge 151 million. This figure indicates that Nigeria’s economic growth or doom relies solely on the youths. At present, all the indices for building a strong, productive, and empowered young population have steadily weakened to the point of distress
At Nolad Youth Foundation, we recognize the significance of youths and their integral role, and that Nigeria’s future is tied to their development. These youths if left unproductive, and, urgently not catered for, will cause a great burden on society.

WHY WE ARE HERE
We exist to empower and inspire disadvantaged youth, seeking a path out of adversity, offering resources, and creating opportunities for them to embrace their potential, and lead transformative change in their communities.
A conscious effort at youth empowerment opens a window of numerous opportunities for socioeconomic mobility. The government is trying its best but can’t do it alone. By providing adequate infrastructure and creating necessary development programs, collaborative support from all stakeholders for aspiring youth. , In the long run, Nigeria will be repositioned as a global economic force. We aim to create a paradigm shift (through our initiatives) that moves the youth away from the state of mass destruction to a weapon of mass development and a better society for us and our children
What sets us apart is our holistic approach to youth development. We understand that true transformation goes beyond surface-level changes. That's why we provide comprehensive programs and resources that address the diverse needs of young people, including education, health, mentorship, life skills training, and access to opportunities.
OUR AIM/ OBJECTIVES ARE AS FOLLOWS
- To instill a clear sense of national identity and respect for national principles and values in youth by creating an awareness in young men and women to promote national unity by upholding the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, patriotism, solidarity, tolerance, and responsible citizenship
- To initiate a coordinated and systematic approach that engages parents, teachers, community leaders, and other stakeholders at all levels to reduce moral decadence among the youth and promote integrity-based social values.
- To curb the intake of alcohol and substance abuse (which inhibit their capacity to participate in society) among the youth; by organizing systemic reorientation programs in collaboration with relevant government agencies and all stakeholders.
- To contribute to the reduction of sexually transmitted diseases, the incidence of teenage unwanted pregnancies, and the sequel of unsafe abortion, and mitigate their impact on the individual youth and society.
- To organize entrepreneurial and skill acquisition programs by engaging experienced professionals from various industries to train the youths to attain the knowledge, standard, and expertise required to add self-value and participate in societal development.
- To aid the reduction of idle youths by creating a window of opportunities for youth employment, sustainable livelihoods, and decent work for young men and women to participate and contribute to the nation's socio-economic development.
- Initiate and support in collaboration with specialized institutions, government agencies, philanthropists, international development partners, and civil societies with similar or complementing motives on issues affecting the youth and access to resources directed toward their developmental programs
- To promote unity and cooperation among the youth and their counterpart in different parts of the world by providing them with a unique platform to exchange knowledge, ideas, and experiences that create impact-driven change in society.
